The school's three-stage admissions process is highly selective, featuring two mandatory ability tests that evaluate critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and English language proficiency. On average, around 3,500 applicants compete for just 24 available spots in the 5th grade each year. As a result, the acceptance rate is approximately 0.7%. To ensure transparency and objectivity in the admissions process, Cambridge Assessment International Education provides the examination materials and fully oversees the entire admissions exam process.
Graduates of the 4th grade are admitted to the 5th grade. Annual grades in STEAM subjects (Mathematics, Sciences) must be "5" (Excellent).
A student can only apply to the Presidential School located in the region where they are currently studying.
Documents are accepted from May 25 to June 14 via ariza.piima.uz or my.gov.uz .A 3x4 photo and a copy of the report card are required.

The top 48 students who do not pass the Stage 2 exam for admission will be accepted into their chosen specialized school without an entrance exam.
